Arundel Castle is well worth a day’s visit, especially in the summer when the views from the keep are breathtaking. There is so much to see, both in terms of splendour and sheer size—how the other half live! Arundel itself is a sleepy town, and I love visiting it. The small cafes and shops all have their individual character.
